Indigenous Peoples' Day: Art Carries Us Forward Campaign
Celebrate Indigenous Art, Culture, & Resilience with us!

Through our Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Art Carries Us Forward campaign, we’re working to raise $10,000 today to support Indigenous artists, performers, culture bearers, and creative entrepreneurs.
All funds raised will directly support artists participating in our programs, including Cultural Capital and Artist in Business Leadership, helping artists strengthen their creative practices, grow their businesses, and carry their work forward.
Our Collective Gift of Gratitude
As a thank-you for supporting First Peoples Fund, donors to the Art Carries Us Forward campaign will receive a complimentary First Peoples Fund Playlist. A special collection of music that reflects the artists, relationships, and creative community your generosity helps sustain.
Thoughtfully curated by Talon Bazille, Wičahpi Olowaŋ Studio + Music Program Manager and 2019 First Peoples Fund Cultural Capital Fellow, the playlist brings together music by Indigenous musicians whose creative journeys have crossed paths with First Peoples Fund through fellowships, grants, collaborations, recordings, and performances at the Oglala Lakota Artspace.
Each musician brings heart, story, spirit, and lived experience to their work. Together, their music carries memory and knowledge, celebrates creativity and culture, and strengthens the connections that bring us together.
