East Whittier Middle School is Playing for Runway — turning its Fall Sports Pep Rally into meaningful support for families navigating metastatic breast cancer and the loss of a parent.
On October 1, East Whittier’s ASB/Leadership students will bring their school community together for a Pink Out Pep Rally benefiting Runway for Recovery. Students will wear Play for Runway shirts, honor people in their lives who have been impacted by breast cancer, and help their community understand exactly who their fundraising supports.
This is East Whittier’s first Play for Runway event, and we are so excited to welcome this Southern California school community to Runway!
