George and Betty Files Scholarship

This award was established by the children of George and Betty Files to honor their parents’ legacy. Both George and Betty dedicated themselves to their community and championed education. It is presented to a graduating senior who upholds a minimum 2.0 GPA, demonstrates good citizenship and moral character, and is actively involved in school activities. Preference will be given to students who exhibit financial need. The recipient will pursue further education at a technical school, a two-year college, or a four-year college or university.
