This October, The Breasties is hosting Reclaim October, a community-led fundraiser supporting our Stage 4 programming and research.
Together, we’re reclaiming a month that can feel overwhelming or incomplete for anyone impacted by breast cancer, while making space for the voices, experiences, and needs of people living with metastatic breast cancer.
Reclaim October, together
For many in our community, October’s sea of pink does not reflect the full reality of breast cancer. Reclaim October is The Breasties’ community-led invitation for all Breasties and allies to honor the month in their own way: by sharing stories, building connection, advocating for change, and turning awareness into meaningful support.
This year, The Breasties is hosting Reclaim October as a fundraiser for our Stage 4 research and programming. Your gift helps create connection beyond October, elevate voices too often left out of the conversation, and invest in a better future for people living with metastatic breast cancer.

Metastatic research: The Breasties’ Stage 4 research grant at Magee-Womens Research Institute
Connection beyond October: Monthly protected Stage 4 meetups and accessible community experiences.
Stage 4 voices in the room: Opportunities for thrivers to engage with research and share what they learn with the community.
