Help Us Reach the World Stage
For Costa Rica, surfing is more than a sport. It is part of our identity.
For our para surfers, it is also a space for competition, independence, achievement, and belonging.
From November 19–22, 2026, five Costa Rican athletes and 4 staff members will represent our country at the ISA World Para Surfing Championship at DSRT Surf in Palm Desert, California, USA.
Getting the entire delegation of 9 people to California requires $18,735usd to cover airfare, accommodations, transportation, meals, competition registration, insurance, and the technical staff required to support our athletes throughout the championship.
That's where you can make a difference. 🤙🏽

Competing at a World Championship is about medals, but its impact goes much further. Every time a Costa Rican para surfer enters the water wearing our national colors, they help make disability visible through ability, performance, competition, and excellence.
This November, we want to see Costa Rica on the starting list in California. Help us get there! 💪🏽
