What We Do and What We Want to Accomplish
Indie Arts Montclair was founded in 2018 as a 501c3 community non-profit. We have served the community with music on Make Music Day and Make Music Winter, arts with Montclair Zine Fest and general fun through programs like Montclair Zombie Walk. We also have skillshares, support other community organizations with sound equipment and volunteers, and do much more. All our events are free and open to the whole community.
Over the last few years we have run event to event and have not had our own office (we share a mailing address), and are completey volunteer run. We hope to continue to be a community based organization, suported by community members. But that woudl be much easier with a little infrastructure and some money in the bank.
