About The Women's Resource
Founded in 1990, The Women's Resource believes when a woman controls her finances, she controls her destiny. Your gift provides Houston women and girls with free financial education, one-on-one coaching, and career support.
Our RISE! high school program is an extension of that belief, empowering girls to step confidently into their futures by giving them foundational financial literacy lessons and practical career and college readiness skills.

In 2026, our graduating seniors collectively received 432 scholarships and 916 acceptance letters. Of that number, 68% identified themselves as first-generation college students.
