Meet Champion, Seeley
Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children has been Hawaiʻi's only Children's Miracle Network hospital since 1984. This means 100% of the money raised in Hawaiʻi stays here to help our keiki, regardless of a family's ability to pay. Gifts to Kapiʻolani Children's Miracle Network support meaningful programs and services that otherwise would not be possible.
Just two and a half weeks after her birth, Seeley developed a persistent fever. At Wilcox Medical Center on Kaua‘i, tests revealed her white blood cell count was dangerously high. She was medevacked to Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, where she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia — becoming one of the youngest patients in the country to begin a specialized chemotherapy protocol.
Today, she is thriving and has been recognized as Hawai‘i's 2026 Children's Miracle Network Champion.
