Support grieving families in Ukraine!

TAPS International has been working with Ukraine since 2014 when the state department asked us to assist Ukraine in developing a program to support the families of the military deceased from conflict in the Donbas region of Ukraine.
Since the start of the Russian war in Ukraine in February 2022, TAPS International and our sister organization TAPS Ukraine have been on the ground providing direct support to Ukrainian soldiers, internally displaced people, families who’ve lost a loved one and all those suffering in the conflict.
About TAPS International
TAPS International’s work focuses on four areas:
-
⭐
Collaboration: TAPS International collaborates with countries that have existing organizations supporting the family members of deceased military, such as the Israeli Defense Forces Widows and Orphans or the India War Widows Association.
-
⭐
Mentorship: TAPS partners with countries who have the infrastructure in place to learn from TAPS life-saving programs and create their own organizations to support grieving military families.
-
⭐
Replication: TAPS reaches out to countries with no formal program for the family members of deceased military, that want to replicate the TAPS model of hope and healing. These programs include such groups as TAPS Ukraine.
-
⭐
In-country work: TAPS International works in countries like Afghanistan, where current situations don’t favor replicating or mentoring work.
