Show Your Art
Show Your Art is a community-driven project, started by local PNW artist Sarah E. Miller, dedicated to empowering new and emerging visual artists in the Pacific Northwest.
Through comprehensive guidebooks and ongoing work with both PNW venues and artists, the project connects creatives with local businesses and organizations eager to showcase new artists' work.
These spaces include (but aren’t limited to): coffee shops, galleries, bars, coworking spaces, vintage stores, theaters, and more. Any place that works (or is interested in working) with local artists across a range of visual disciplines.
In addition to the guide, Show Your Art offers free and low-cost, low-pressure events designed to help artists build confidence, make connections, and better understand how to navigate the local art scene.
This resource provides clear, actionable details on themes, submission processes, commission structures, and more - helping artists confidently navigate opportunities and build relationships within the Pacific Northwest art community.
The Vision:
With time, Show Your Art will grow into:
• A dedicated online resource center with an interactive map for artists looking to place their work.
• Launch a Show Your Art series of guidebooks and maps exploring other counties, communities, and venues within the PNW (Including all of WA, OR, and more!)
• Create artist-focused workshops, tools, and updated content to help artists connect with venues and navigate submissions processes.
• Collaborate with business and gallery owners to identify their needs and enhance artist-venue partnerships.
Sarah is passionate about fostering inclusivity, creativity, and community for new and emerging artists, helping them find their voice and navigate their way to new opportunities.
