Howler Monkeys

Loud. Very loud. Our howler monkeys make sure we never forget they are here. Every day, they need fresh leaves, nutritious food, and the specialized care they deserve. Most of our resident howlers arrived at Sibu after surviving electrocutions, leaving them with injuries that make life in the wild impossible.

Spider Monkeys

Majestic, playful, and incredibly smart. Our spider monkeys need plenty of space to move, climb, and explore, along with a daily supply of fresh fruits, their main source of energy. All four of our resident spider monkeys were victims of the illegal pet trade.

Macaws, Parrots and Parakeets

Our birds have plenty to say, but only a few of our residents can still fly. Most arrived at Sibu after being victims of the illegal pet trade, leaving them without the skills or abilities needed to survive in the wild.

Veterinary Care

Our veterinarian care includes medicines, specialized treatment and medical supplies whenever our residents need it. We must always be prepared for the unexpected, from routine medical needs to emergencies. Your donation helps us keep essential veterinary supplies available and ensures we can provide the specialized care our residents may need at any time.

Helpers

We may be a small team, but we are committed to giving our residents the best care possible. Every day, from early morning until late in the afternoon, our team is here preparing food, cleaning enclosures, monitoring animals, and responding to their needs. Your support helps us keep the dedicated staff who make their daily care possible.

With rain, humidity, and tropical conditions, our enclosures constantly need maintenance and repairs. Keeping them safe means protecting our residents, their habitats, and the people who care for them.
