Lane Woods is Fighting Kids Cancer in Memory of Rowan Price

After a 6 year karting career, that included multiple MAXXIS national championships, series championships, and an impressive win list, Lane Woods took the next step in his racing career with a move to stock cars in the 2023 season at Orange County Speedway in Rougemonth, NC.
With a successful 2023 under his belt that included 3 trips to victory lane, Woods' 2024 season saw him taking on multiple tracks across North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia in the limited late model stock car division. During the season, the young driver collected 4 wins at Orange County Speedway. W the Charger Division Track Championship at Orange County Speedway and a win in the Rodney Cook Memorial limited race at Ace Speedway, totaling an impressive 5 trips to victory lane.
For 2025, the 14 year old Woods sets his sights on the limited ate model division and moving up the ranks to the late model stock division competing at tracks in NC and VA. He collected wins at South Boston Speedway and Franklin County Speedway in his family owned limited car, and ended the season with an impressive first win in the late models stock car at Orange County Speedway. Other notable finishes n the late model stock car include a top-5 run in the Oranges Blossom Shootout and a top-10 finish in the Krush 250.
Woods races for a cause on and off the track. Partnering with Life Ring Foundation, Woods raised over $13,000 for the Fighting Kids Cancer campaign in 2025.
2026 will find Woods in the late model stock car full time competing across the region at South Boston Speedway, in the CARS tour and IHRA series, and Triple Crown events.
