Oakland Shows Up for Students
The Oakland Public Education Fund leads the development and investment of community resources in Oakland public schools so that all students can learn, grow, and thrive.
Your recurring gift supports year-round programs that connect funds, volunteers, and other community resources with Oakland schools so all students can thrive.
Oakland teachers show up every day. This is our turn.
Field trips, art supplies, volunteer events, and other hands-on learning opportunities matter every month of the school year, not just in September. A recurring gift gives teachers something they can count on, so they can plan ahead and give their students the supplies and experiences they know they need.
Your donation is how you show up when these programs are on the line.

This is what showing up looks like
At Cleveland Elementary, Educator Mary Schriner turned a school garden into a hands-on learning lab for 430 students. Together, students grew fruit, vegetables, and herbs, then turned the harvest into salads, teas, and pressed-flower bookmarks.
A single teacher's idea, made possible by community funding.
