Feed Rescued Babies & Costa Rica’s Only Flamingo
Help Us Raise $1,900 to Feed Rescued Wildlife
Every day, orphaned baby animals and a rescued flamingo depend on specialized nutrition to survive. These essential foods are not available in Costa Rica, and without them, their recovery becomes much harder. Help us bring the nourishment they need to grow, heal, and return to the wild.

About Us
The Jaguar Rescue Center has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife in Costa Rica for 17 years.
In 2025 alone, we received 1,429 wild animals needing urgent care. Our work focuses on giving a second chance to injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife, with the goal of returning them to their natural habitat whenever possible.

What Your Donation Supports
Our current shipment includes: 60 cans of goat milk formula for orphaned wildlife babies Specialized flamingo food for ongoing rehabilitation care.
This supply will cover approximately two months of feeding at our nursery.
Total goal: $1,900 USD

Your Impact
Your donation directly helps us:
- Feed orphaned baby sloths and monkeys - Support the recovery of rescued wildlife
- Maintain continuous care for our flamingo - Prevent critical food shortages
Even a small contribution helps bridge the gap between rescue and survival.
Why This Food Matters?
The goat milk formula required for our baby sloths and monkeys is not available in Costa Rica. These infants arrive orphaned, dehydrated, and completely dependent on bottle feeding every few hours.
We also rely on a specialized flamingo diet that is essential for the health of our single rescued flamingo, a unique case in the country.
This is not general food; it is life-sustaining, species-specific nutrition.
Why We Must Import It ?
Importing wildlife nutrition into Costa Rica is complex, costly, and strictly regulated.
It requires veterinary permits, customs clearance, and international shipping coordination. Unfortunately, individual donations or direct shipments (including Amazon orders) are not accepted by Costa Rican customs and are often rejected at the border.
Because of this, we must place large, organized shipments every two months to ensure uninterrupted care. A missed shipment can put vulnerable babies at risk.

Wildlife rescue depends on timing. Without this shipment, we risk interrupting the care of the most vulnerable animals in our nursery.
Thank you for helping us protect them, one bottle, one life at a time.
