The Kilduff Family
On Saturday night, May 23rd, Boston firefighter and Marine veteran, Robert Kilduff Jr. was killed in the line of duty. Kilduff, of Rescue Co. 2 suffered severe injuries in a fall from the third floor of a burning home at 18 Treadway Road in Dorchester and died at Boston Medical Center despite the best efforts of firefighters on scene, Boston EMS, and hospital staff. He leaves behind two adult children, a girlfriend, and her children.

A proud firefighter, Robert was known not only for his bravery in the line of duty, but also for the kindness, strength, and generosity he shared with everyone around him.
