The Kilduff Family
On Saturday night, May 23rd, Boston firefighter and Marine veteran, Robert Kilduff Jr. was killed in the line of duty. Kilduff, of Rescue Co. 2, suffered severe injuries in a fall from the third floor of a burning home at 18 Treadway Road in Dorchester and died at Boston Medical Center despite the best efforts of firefighters on scene, Boston EMS and the hospital staff. He leaves behind two adult children, a girlfriend and her children.

Bobby "BK" Kilduff dedicated his life to serving and protecting others with courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment. A proud firefighter, Robert was known not only for his bravery in the line of duty, but also for the kindness, strength, and generosity he shared with everyone around him. His loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and the community he so selflessly served.
