At the heart of Provincetown’s quiet winters and vibrant summers is a home for emerging artists and writers that nurtures imagination, risk-taking, and creative freedom—the Fine Arts Work Center. For over half a century, thanks to your belief in our mission, we have helped shape the future of arts and culture in America and around the world. Together, we invest in some of the world’s most promising artists and writers, providing them with the time and space to create new work. No other residency program in America offers seven months of solitude and community to advance new practices and ideas.
