About Students & Alumni Emergency Fund
As a result of the wave of unforeseen challenges impacting our community, many of our members are struggling to afford basic living expenses such as rent, food, and medical bills, through no fault of their own.
In response, ISC has established this emergency fund to provide short-term immediate support for those facing immediate financial hardship.
How funds are disbursed
Students & alumni with urgent financial needs, who meet the eligibility criteria, submit an application with supporting documents that verify the urgency and type of their needs.
Our Selection Committee review the applications regularly and approve funds based on an objective scoring system.
Trust & Transparency
Maintaing the trust of our donors, partners, and applicants is our number one priority; therefore transparency is at the core of everything we do.
From regular public reports on fund status, annual audits, to strict conflict of interest policies, we ensure the fund is operated with the highest level of integrity and transparency, and in accordance to state and federal laws.

Iranian Students of California (ISC), registered as Iranian American Student Council, is an independent, non-political, religiously unaffiliated 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
