This coyote pup (patient 26-1946) was rescued after being hit by a car. Upon her initial exam and x-rays, our team found a fractured leg and signs of head trauma. At only about 7 weeks old, she should still be safely by her mother’s side, not fighting through devastating injuries alone. Every moment matters for this precious patient. Our staff is doing everything medically possible to keep her comfortable, stabilize her injuries, and give her the chance at recovery she deserves. Now, we are asking for your help. Your donation will directly support her ongoing treatments, medications, specialized nutrition, diagnostics, and intensive rehabilitation care. Most importantly, it gives this little girl hope for a second chance at life in the wild where she belongs. Please consider making a gift today and sending healing thoughts her way as she continues to fight. We will share an update on her condition later this week. Thank you to Cape Coral Police Department for your involvement in the rescue of this pup, and thanks to VEG ER for Pets for being the first point of contact as a drop-off partner! You are all rockstars.
