Are donations tax-deductible?
Creative Commons Corporation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll always send it your way upon successful completion of your donation.
When will I receive my book?
Depending on shipping and processing time, it may take up to 3-4 weeks for your book to be delivered. If you want to check on the status of your book, feel free to email us at development@creativecommons.org.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes, we’ll send a receipt to the email address you provide when donating. The receipt will include your donation details, such as the date, amount, and any beneficiary information.

I’d like to add Creative Commons to my will. How do I do this?
Creative Commons does not currently have a planned giving program. If you would like to make a lasting impact by including us in your will, we suggest you visit FreeWill or consult an attorney or estate planning professional. Do you accept employer matching donations?
Yes, we do. Matching gifts are a great way to double your impact. We encourage you to check in with your employer about the matching programs available at your company. If you do move forward with an employer match, please let us know at development@creativecommons.org.
Do you accept cryptocurrency?
Yes. We currently accept donations of cryptocurrency on Classy (via Coinbase), Every and Endaoment.
