Support Camp Erdman's
Recovery Efforts
The recent Kona Low storm has deeply impacted families and communities across Waialua, Haleʻiwa, and the North Shore. Many are facing significant loss and uncertainty, and our hearts are with all who have been affected.
YMCA Camp H.R. Erdman also experienced significant damage from the storm, including to key gathering spaces like our beloved campfire circle and activity fields. Floodwaters carved through parts of our 20-acre property, leaving deep ruts, mud, and boulders that now must be cleared and restored.
We are fortunate that most cabins remain operational, so Camp H.R. Erdman is open to providing temporary housing for first responders and individuals in need and continuing our camp programs, including registration for our Summer and Family camps.
However, restoring ALL activity spaces is essential to ensure Camp H.R. Erdman can continue providing life-changing experiences for youth and families for generations to come, as we celebrate 100 years and continue building for the next 100.
If you are able, please consider making a donation to support Camp H.R. Erdman’s recovery and its role in serving our community during this time.
