Why Your Support Matters
Destination Crenshaw’s Arts Corps program is a living investment in Black creativity, cultural preservation, and economic opportunity in South Los Angeles. Through paid artist opportunities, mentorship, and public art activations, Arts Corps ensures that Black artists are not only seen but sustained.
This season, we are proud to present our Digital Mini Mural Initiative a dynamic series of artist-designed works that will transform the Crenshaw corridor through vibrant banner installations. These “mini murals” are more than visual enhancements; they are powerful expressions of Black Los Angeles, its stories, its pride, and its creative future.
Commissioned muralist Terrick Gutierrez speaks on his piece and the elements showcased throughout the painting.
