Lead with Love: Going the Distance, presented by City National Bank, returns LIVE on KTLA 5 on Saturday, June 27, from 7:00–9:00 PM for what has been called “the feel-good live television event of summer.” The special, which has been nominated for four Emmy Awards, will be hosted by Eric McCormack, Steven Weber, KTLA’s Jessica Holmes, and Loni Love, and will bring together a star-studded lineup of friends and supporters, including Noah Wyle, Amy Poehler, Brooke Shields, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jason Ritter, Judith Light, Adam Brody, Valerie Bertinelli, Edward James Olmos, L.A. artist Robert Vargas, Janelle James, Morgan Fairchild, TV Icon Barbara Eden, and more. The evening will feature special performances by Kenny G, Tiffany, Clay Aiken, Em Beihold, Sam Harris, and Shanice (Williams) Shantay — plus a hilarious All-Star Phone Bank featuring Amy Yasbeck, Bruce Vilanch, Will Sasso, Jodie Sweetin, KTLA’s own Melvin Robert, and Gregory and Lawrence Zarian.
And this year, donors don’t just give — you become part of the show, with your names flashing across television screens throughout Southern California in recognition of your generosity. At a time of rising food and gas costs, and uncertainty around federal funding, every gift helps Project Angel Food go the distance for thousands of seriously ill Angelenos: $6 buys a gallon of gas, $60 buys 10 gallons, and $120 can fill a tank and keep our drivers on the road delivering life-changing meals. Tune in on Saturday, June 27th, because you don’t want to miss this one-night-only primetime special.
