This is Jordan's Story.
Long before she stepped behind the pharmacy counter, Jordan understood what it means to be cared for and what it takes to truly care for others.
“I could never have taken care of patients without having been the patient," she says.
At 24, Jordan is building a career in healthcare grounded in empathy and lived experience.
Before joining New Door, she had earned her Certified Nursing Assistant accreditation and worked in a nursing home, but she was searching for a clear next step toward a stable, long-term career.
Through New Door’s Pharmacy Technician Training Program, Jordan gained structured, industry-aligned training, hands-on experience in real pharmacy settings, one-on-one career coaching, and a 140-hour externship at CVS Pharmacy®.
Today, she is in the final stages of certification and working toward her long-term goal of becoming a nurse.
