For more than 60 years, Ada S. McKinley's College & Career Preparation Program has helped Chicago students prepare for college and career success through academic advising, tutoring, mentoring, college tours, career exploration, financial aid assistance, and more.
This year alone, Ada helped students secure more than $31 million in scholarships and financial aid. While those awards open the door to college, they often do not cover the dorm essentials, school supplies, technology, and other necessities students need to begin their college journeys with confidence.
The Revie Sorey Trunk Scholarship Program helps bridge that gap by providing first-generation college students with trunks filled with the essentials they need to step onto campus equipped and ready to succeed.
