CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF RETHINKING SCHOOLS!

40 years of storytelling, advocacy, and fighting for education justice.

Your support directly impacts the next generation of teachers, activists, and students

During our 40th anniversary year, your support will help us seed the foundation for the next 40 years.

Rethinking Schools began as a quarterly tabloid, distributed free in Milwaukee schools, and has published continuously since 1986. As the last remaining national social justice teaching publication, Rethinking Schools is proud to support and protect the viability of public schools through social justice teaching and education activism.

Teachers have been the first line of defense in fighting fascism — organizing the struggle against ICE, militarization, and truth-banning. At a time of ferocious attacks on public education, your support is vital. Help us continue to tell the stories of the education justice movement.
