Please Help Romarishi & Tara
I’m writing to ask for support for two extraordinary souls Romarishi and his wife Tara—who are facing an urgent convergence of medical and practical challenges. For decades, Romarishi and Tara have traveled and taught freely, offering over 600 totally free transmissions of profound spiritual wisdom to thousands—never charging, never asking, always giving. Many of us have been deeply touched by their classes, books, tea ceremonies, and conversations, and by the rare teachings they shared from Siddha masters and saints they knew personally.
Now, they are the ones in need. Romarishi is recovering from a stroke that left his left side partially paralyzed, and he also urgently requires surgery for a long-standing prostate condition that has caused repeated infections, hospital visits, and immense suffering over the past several years.
At the same time, their only vehicle—a 2003 Honda Element with over 276,000 miles—is no longer reliable. Two mechanics have warned that the engine could fail at any time. Because they live in a rural area in Oregon and must travel long distances for medical care, having a dependable car is essential—not optional.
We are hoping to raise $20,000 plus to help them through this hurdle and give them a foundation to recover with dignity. If you have ever been touched by their teachings, their heart filled posts, their incredible kindness, their essays and books, or their lifelong service, this is a moment to give back. Their next book was in the works when these latest challenges transpired. Every contribution—large or small—truly helps, and sharing this fundraiser is also a powerful form of support.
Let’s show up for those who have shown up for so many, for so long.
Why Your Support Matters
Romarishi and Tara live simply and each receive less than the average monthly Social Security retirement benefits. They are struggling with increased food prices, ongoing car repairs and medical-related costs. They are currently completely depleted financially and need immediate help to:
• Purchase a reliable used vehicle
• Cover travel and out-of-town medical expenses
• Stabilize during this critical healing period
