“This music system will be the basis of our plan to construct a Behavioral Health Sensory Space. Here, our patients will be able to choose interactive experiences such as smelling calming scents; studying intriguing visual shapes, patterns and colors; feeling different textures; and hearing nature’s sounds and calming music. With the help from trained therapists, sensory elements are known to ground patients suffering through mental turmoil and help them heal emotional pain and trauma.”
